The CTS (Chathayam Thirunnal Scholarship) is Established in honour of Paramahamsa Sree Narayana Guru, whose life and teachings not only championed social uplift through learning but also inspired people to choose the path of enlightenment.
This CTS intent is to support bright, motivated students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds irrespective of their caste, religion or creed. Inspired by Guru's guiding maxim "Dharmma eva param daivam" (ധർമ്മം തന്നെ പരമമായ ദൈവം) — God is the supreme duty — and "vidyakondu prabudharakuka" (വിദ്യ കൊണ്ട് പ്രബുദ്ധരാകുക) — awaken through education — the award recognizes academic promise, Humanity service, and the drive to transform personal opportunity towards social good.
This CTS continues Sree Narayana Guru's legacy by empowering learners to awaken their potential and contribute to a more equitable society.
